Our goal is to make your experience with Alumni Career Services smooth and productive. Below are answers to common questions about scheduling and attending career coaching appointments.
As an Isenberg grad, you may schedule up to five 30-minute appointments (a total of 2.5 hours of appointment time) within a 12-month period.
Amanda can assist you with career exploration, job application strategies, resume development, interview preparation, and networking strategies. When scheduling your appointment, please include as much detail as possible so your Amanda can prepare to support you.
Yes. Recent graduates may continue scheduling with their current coach for up to three months after graduation. After that, appointments should be made with the designated alumni career coach, Amanda Upton.
Please notify your coach at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. This courtesy allows others to book during busy periods. Missing an appointment without notice will be recorded as a “no-show.” Two or more no-shows may limit your ability to schedule future appointments. Please note that missing an appointment will count towards the 2.5 hours of appointment time that you are eligible for during a 12-month period.
If you arrive less than 15 minutes late, your session will be shortened by the amount of time you were late. Appointments cannot be extended beyond the original end time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a “no-show,” and you’ll need to reschedule.
