The HTM Career Day is scheduled for Thursday, February 17th, and this blog post will give you a run-down of some lead-up events and the main events starting next week!
Monday, February 7th – Young Alumni Panel || 6 PM-7 PM || via Zoom
Hear from recent graduates of the HTM program about their experiences post-graduation. Learn about where they are now and what they did to get there. The Alumni joining us are –

Wednesday, February 16th – Rapid Recruiting Event || 6 PM – 8PM || In-Person
Dress Code: Business Professional
The Rapid Recruiting event puts students in groups and gives them a chance to speak with exclusively invited companies in a brief 4-5 minute long information session where company representatives will tell you all about their company. You’ll want to attend this event to maybe pick a few companies who you’ll want to speak with at Career Day, or to make yourself known to a company rep you’re hoping to secure a position with.

The 48th Annual Career Day will be comprised of approximately 35+ companies originating from various segments within the industry such as hotels, events, real estate, and many more. On February 17th, Students will have the opportunity to walk around the first floor of the Campus Center, introduce themselves, and network with different recruiters for various levels of employment.

Signifying the finale of our 48th Annual HTM Career Day, the Senior Reception will be held in the Marriott Center, located on the 11th floor of the Campus Center, on February 17th from 5 to 7PM! The annual Senior Reception is the Hospitality & Tourism Management Department’s premier networking event, hosted to enhance interaction amongst our seniors, recruiters, faculty, and alumni. The Senior Reception is a time where recruiters can get to know our graduating students on a personal level and celebrate all their accomplishments.
