Isenberg Career Day 2026
Join us on Wednesday, September 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mullins Center at UMass Amherst for Isenberg Career Day 2026!
We would love to have your organization represented at this year’s event and help you connect with exceptional emerging talent for both internship and full-time opportunities.
We are especially excited to host this event for the first time in the Mullins Center, a much more spacious venue that will maximize the quality of networking conversations between students and employers.

Isenberg, along with the rest of UMass Amherst, utilizes Handshake as its primary platform for advertising job and internship opportunities and managing interview activity. Employers are requested to submit job/internship postings, as well as interview and event requests, via this system.
Please note that Isenberg students are accessible within the main University of Massachusetts Amherst account within Handshake; Isenberg does not have a separate account.

Isenberg Career Day takes place every fall semester on campus in the Mullins Center. Isenberg students are consistently recruited by leading organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups, and our alumni continue to make an impact across industries including finance, consulting, technology, consumer products, healthcare, hospitality, and sport.

Employers may request to host either a virtual or in-person information session each semester to introduce the company, its roles, and recruiting process.
Employers may request to host a workshop each semester to provide an interactive and hands-on experience for students to practice relevant skills or solve real-world problems.
Reserve space to table in the Innovation Hub, one of Isenberg’s best-trafficked locations, free of charge! Hosting an information table is a great way to increase your company’s name recognition within the school and to have more lengthy conversations with individual students than would be feasible at a career fair. Bring a branded tablecloth, signage, and giveaways, and consider offering food as an added incentive to visit your table. No more than two companies (from non-competing industries) may host a Hub table on a given date, allowing you to claim the majority of the spotlight.
A firm may schedule one tabling session per semester.
Employers are welcome to host either in-person interviews in our interview suite or virtual interviews. Interviews can be managed by the Office of Career Success staff via Handshake, or you can reserve space in the interview suite and manage your own schedule.

Employers may request to host either in-person or virtual coffee chats each semester. Coffee chats are not interviews, but rather a chance for students to speak 1:1 or in a small group with a company representative.
Employers may request to host an event with a competitive or game-style format.

Hosting an Industry Trek is a unique opportunity to showcase your organization, introduce students to your team and workplace culture, and build your brand on campus. By opening your doors to a small group of engaged Isenberg students, you can help them connect classroom learning to real-world careers while establishing relationships with future interns and full-time talent.
How many students are we expected to host at a Trek?
- The number of participants is very flexible, so if your organization has specific restrictions or goals in terms of attendance we can start there. For reference, most treks consist of 20-30 students and around 5 Isenberg staff members.
What expenses are involved in hosting a trek?
- Usually, just your time and efforts in organizing the schedule for the visit. Isenberg will provide the transportation to your site. Some companies choose to host lunch on site but that is not a requirement for hosting a trek.
What presentations/sessions are expected when hosting a trek?
- This also varies from company to company, and we can work together to figure out what works best for your team. Usually, there is a site tour, a panel of company employees and a question and answer session. Overall, we are looking for ways to engage students from across majors and programs and allow them to learn the behind-the-scenes of your company and industry. This is meant to be a career learning experience, not necessarily a recruitment focused visit. Hearing from Isenberg alumni is always a plus!!
