Lifetime Access to UMass Handshake

UMass alumni have lifetime access to our platform for searching for full-time jobs, as well as career fairs and employer events at UMass or with outside organizations you can attend. Follow the instructions below for accessing Handshake. 

Do not log in as a Current UMass Student, as within 6 months of graduation, your UMass email is discontinued. You can log in with a non-UMass email and set up an account as an alum.

Step 1

Click on “sign in with your email address” as shown in the photo below

After entering your email address, you’ll be asked if you want to log in using your Handshake credentials, go ahead and click that.

After this, you’ll be asked to set a password with your account. Click Get Started to do that: 

After you’ve created your password, you will get a verification email which will confirm your password and you’ll then be able to access Handshake.

Step 4

Once you are in Handshake, you can attend employer events online or in person, search for jobs or find employer contact information for networking.
