Isenberg ISucceed Professional Development Program
Learn about ISucceed and Download the App
ISucceed is Isenberg’s Student Success app, designed to deliver co-curricular programming and successfully launch our students as business professionals. ISucceed guides students to career readiness through co-curricular activities that are based on a subset of the NACE competencies, including Career & Professional Development; Inclusive Leadership; and Technology. Students earn points, badges and school-wide recognition along the way.
Each competency has three levels (level 1-maroon, level 2-silver, and level 3-gold) and badges are awarded as levels are completed. Badges can be shared on social media, such as LinkedIn. ISucceed activities are “employer-approved” and are designed to help our students succeed in all four competencies.
ISucceed Competencies
- Career & Professional Development: Create business professionals and balanced, life-long learners who can successfully navigate career opportunities and network to build relationships.
- Inclusive Leadership: Develop inclusive leaders with a strong foundation of ethics and sustainability, who recognize their own and others’ strengths to work as a team and achieve organizational goals. Create global citizens who can equitably engage and include people from different local and global cultures, demonstrating the knowledge and awareness to actively challenge bias in existing systems, structures, and policies, while fostering a sense of belonging for all.
- Technology: Develop innovative business professionals who understand, embrace, and leverage technologies to ethically enhance the efficiency and productivity of their work and achieve organizational goals.
Earn Points and Badges
Isenberg students progressively complete levels in each competency, with the completion of the level 1 badges, unlocking level 2 badge opportunities, and likewise, the completion of level 2 badges unlocking level 3 badge opportunities.
Level 1- Maroon
The target completion time for Level 1 badges is during the students’ first year in Isenberg. Activities count toward the “Achievement” Badge in each competency, with each activity worth 10 points, and 100 points required to complete Level 1 in each competency.
Level 2- Silver
The target completion time for Level 2 badges is during the students’ second year in Isenberg. Activities count toward the “Honors” Badge in each competency, with each activity worth 20 points, and 100 points is required to complete Level 2 in each competency.
Level 3– Gold
The target completion time for Level 3 badges is during the students’ junior or senior year in Isenberg. Activities count toward the “High Honors” Badge in each competency, with each activity worth 50 points, and 150 points is required to complete Level 3 in each competency.
As Isenberg students complete all four competencies, they can earn overall badges: Level 1-Maroon, Level 2-Silver, Level 3-Gold. Higher levels are unlocked as lower levels are completed. For example, after students complete Level 1 competencies, their achievements in level 2 competencies will become visible.
